The latest FSAP58B Synthetic Flight Trainer, the 'Galileo-6DF' utilises a 6 Degrees of freedom Motion Base providing motion sensations of Roll, Pitch, Yaw, Heave, Surge, and Sway on a 450mm hydraulic ram/actuator base providing refined full flight simulator response with wash out and effective 'bump-stop-turnaround' to provide motion equivalent to a Full Flight Simulator.
Added to this is a visuals package providing 215 X 35 degree high resolution visuals comprising accurate world terrain textures and topography including accurate NASA Shuttle terrain mapping for altitude and spot heights. The net effect is fantastically real flying training in a device which fully replicates a full flight simulator at realistic prices.
It is fully Australian designed, by qualified pilots/engineers and is built in Australia, it is made to last with vision to future requirements of MPL Training and should in the unlikely event there be a service issue we can guarantee service response anywhere within Australia in less than 2 working days. In fact our product confidence is so high we guarantee the product for a full twelve months on an 'unlimited hours flown' basis, subject only to normal operating service guidelines being met by the operator.
The 'Galileo-6DF' is a four seat unit comprising 2 crew seats with full dual cockpit and instrumentation as well as an additional observer seat, and a fully equipped instructor seat and software console able to control all aspects of the flight including a wide range of failure and emergency scenarios.
